2021 Torre Zambra Costa Croce Passerina
The De Cerchio family founded Torre Zambra in 1961. Today, they take pride in maintaining traditions while looking forward to modern know-how. The family chose Villamagna as a place to cultivate vines in Abruzzo for its unique characteristics in the region. Its hills vaunt a rare microclimate, making them one of the wine world’s special growing sites. The proximity of the sea and the mountains creates swift day–night and seasonal temperature changes that are the secret behind the fragrant white wines.
The 2021 Passerina is golden with citrus blossom and green apple aromas. On the palate, it’s bright and crisp with lemony apple notes. Super when paired with creamy pasta like Fettuccine Alfredo or Carbonara.
